The American Family is in decline as decreasing numbers of young people commit to marriage, as birth rates continue to plummet below replacement levels, and worse, as there seems to be a growing consensus that traditional relationships like husband and wife, and fatherhood and motherhood are not even worth pursuing.
From 2010 to 2020, the U.S. grew at its slowest growth rate since the Great Depression nearly a century earlier, but why is this happening? And what do we mean by "the American family"? Or even family for that matter?
